Kerry,

I replaced a motor last year on my 42. I don't recall the model but I
believe it was an AFI purchased from Fisheries supply. The motor has 2
speeds, is self parking and could be adjusted to several different
degrees of sweep. As I recall the most important issue was the to be
sure the shaft length is the same as the one being replaced. My old
motor was fine but I was no longer able to find arms which fit it's
shaft end (very old design according to Fisheries).

Finally the best windshield advice is to use rainex. Often the glass
on saltwater boats gets etched so you need to polish it first and then
apply the rainex. I do this a couple times a year and it really helps
the vision.

Good luck.

Bob
