Like John said I use a dock step. Its not perfect but I can move it from the flybridge, to the dock and/or the transom depending on where its needed. Worked great for my mom and my aged dog. The one I have is a bit unique. I've never seen another. It's fiberglass over plywood, sturdy and does not slip.
