Hi Thanks for the reply. I just talked to my mechanic and told him what I was researching. He said he has a Paragon contact in Seattle who has a rep in Vancouver and will also be checking with them. We have not ripped apart the tranny yet so we do not know the condition of the guts. Do you have some pics and what kind of price are you looking at.

I have two units one has been disassembled and needs a pinion gear. I would like to sell the set as I don't have a boat anymore. I am in Southern California Thanks Sent on the new Sprint Network ----- Reply message ----- From: [email protected] To: <[email protected]> Subject: [UnifliteWorld] Paragon transmission Date: Mon, Jul 6, 2015 8:51 AM Hi I have a 31' Sedan with twin Chrysler 318's. I was overheating some on the starboard side and put in new risers. This helped a lot. The risers were really plugged. But it was still running warm. My mechanic and I then pulled out the VDrive. It is also water cooled and it too was plugged. We boiled out the crude and cleaned it up very nicely. The only problem was that the shaft into the transmission came out with the VDrive. It appears the plates dropped and we could not get the shaft back into the tranny. So, we pulled the tranny out. Sure glad we did. The bottom of the Tranny was mush. We took a screwdriver to it an poked a hole into it. So glad it didn't blow out. The numbers on the Paragon transmission say 177 PV33R 27869R. Someone has placed a stamp over the 33 with a 32. On the side there is also a stamp saying R12 563, JFC. My on-line search came up with a site, 'Paragon Power.' I see both PV series and P Series. Mine actually looks like the P series. My mechanic is trying to source on his side but I thought I'd give the group a try. I am in Vancouver, Canada. Very close to the original Uniflite factory. Any thoughts would be great. PS. The port side is a different system. The previous owner changed it to a non water cooled single unit VDrive/Transmission.
