Hi Bill,

We just obtained a project 1978 uniflite 28' for free that is built like a
sportfisher on a salty dog hull. It has a huge deck and a flybridge which is
why it led me to think sportfish. In the cabin on the starboard side there's a
dinette, and on the port side is a head, sink, icebox, alcohol stove, and
helm. Forward is a sizable V berth.

Ours was a forest service patrol boat on Lake Havesu originally and I did find
an ad from 1977 for Uniflite law enforcement and rescue patrol boats so this
may have been a special order. I believe some of the cabinetry was added after
it was retired and moved to Washington as the cabin door was modified to allow
for stretchers.

You can see her on Facebook at Fun with Freeda-a Uniflite labor of love. Good
luck with your project!
