This is a heads up about one particularly ugly bug in UnionFS... If you mess up your mount options - dmesg says:
unionfs_read_super: error while parsing options (err = -22) you will most likely run out of memory (regardless of how much you have) within the next 30-60 seconds. This will be followed by an oops. Unfortunately, we're quite busy with the Ottawa Linux Symposium UnionFS paper, and therefore we are unable to look into the issue at this moment.
