I'm exporting by NFS a unionfs mount for a diskless station and it worked quite fine... Until I experienced strange crashes on the server : I indeed found that I can reliably produce a kernel panic just by doing some heavy disk activity on the server (in a directory unrelated to unionfs or nfs !) while the diskless is mostly idle.
The oops, gotten through a serial console, is included in attachment.
Is this a known bug ? I'd like to test the latest snapshot but unfortunately I cannot upgrade the kernel on this server, so any suggestion would be helpful.
Best regards,
Vincent Vanackère
