I have never heard of this, but chances are that people generally prefer their NAS boxes to be on ;) > If I turn back the NAS box on, then the remove call works! Hrm. I'm not sure where the problem is stemming from. I am somewhat tempted to say that it's due to the fact that during branch removal, we release some resources and the CIFS/SMBFS code gives up with the above message.
