Bug description:
When listening to DBus indicator-appmenu communication, we can see
that some applications (like gedit, gucharmap) export some hidden
empty menu entries. Those entries seem invalid. Found while the
test_panel test_hovering_indicators_on_multiple_monitors autopilot
test was failing.
For instance, the following menu was exported for my charmap application
instance:
