I tested this yesterday by installing the package from the MR on maguro/#98, and the fix works as advertised.
That said, it's still pretty easy for this toggle to get out of sync again ( see bug #1226197 ). -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Unity API bugs, which is subscribed to Network Menu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1220332 Title: Wi-Fi menu shows incorrect state after flashing Status in Network Menu: Fix Released Status in “indicator-network” package in Ubuntu: Fix Released Bug description: The network menu Wi-Fi toggle switch has shown an incorrect state after flashing ( cdimage-touch ) for a couple of days now. I've tested 20130903 on both maguro and mako and both show Wi-Fi as disabled after flashing even though the value of WirelessEnabled returned from NM is true. On both devices however, networks are show in the menu even though the value of the switch is off. I've tried rebooting both devices several time, and this seems to make no difference. Connecting to a network seems to trigger the switch to all of a sudden show the correct state. Here are a couple of relevant package versions: indicator-network: 0.5.0+13.10.20130829-0ubuntu1 network-manager: 0.9.8.0-0ubuntu19 unity8: 7.81.3+13.10.20130903.1-0ubuntu1 To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/indicator-network/+bug/1220332/+subscriptions -- Mailing list: https://launchpad.net/~unity-api-bugs Post to : [email protected] Unsubscribe : https://launchpad.net/~unity-api-bugs More help : https://help.launchpad.net/ListHelp
