Title: SIM unlock doesn't accept 5 digits PIN Status in Network Menu: Confirmed Status in The Unity 8 shell: Fix Committed Status in “indicator-network” package in Ubuntu: Confirmed Status in “unity8” package in Ubuntu: Fix Committed Bug description: My SIM unlock PIN is 5 digits; when I type the 4th one, it's immediately sent to the SIM. I haven't retried since I fear locking it for good. I have seen some code allowing up to 16 digits for SIM PIN and a couple of docs mentioning 8 digits for SIM PIN and PUK. I think we should allow 8 digits. <https://wiki.ubuntu.com/SecurityAndPrivacySettings#SIM_PIN>: "The 'Lock' button in the 'Enter Previous PIN' dialog, and the 'Change' button in the 'Change SIM PIN' dialog, should be insensitive whenever any PIN field contains fewer than four or more than eight digits (the GSM PIN bounds)."
