I'm sure it's related to another crash report generated at the same time from xserver-xorg-video-intel. I can reproduce this easily on my laptop, but only when launching with upstart-app-launch. Running directly with qmlscene works fine. When started with upstart- app-launch, the whole desktop locks up for a few seconds and I get a black window where the app should be.
