To explain that "Won't Fix" status: The sound menu no longer cares at all about which player is the "default". It shows any players that are registered; and it shows playback controls for whichever player was playing most recently, whether it is the default or not. <https://wiki.ubuntu.com/Sound#playback-item> That might be an installed player, or a Web player.

Because the default music player is chosen from a list within the default plug. This list only has players who can open music files. We need a way to make other players default. Not default for opening music files, but for playing music. The list of music players is already in the sound menu. This would give players like Spotify and Nuvola a fair chance. ---- OLD ---- Even when Noise is closed, it's controls are visible in the Sound menu. This isn't the case with other players like Nuvola and Spotify. Noise controls should only show up when Noise is active. If it isn't running, the controls should be hidden.
