Public bug reported: The indicator-power silo which just got approved for RTM doesn't fully sync with ubuntu-system-settings. Specifically, toggling the automatic brightness checkbox in system-settings does not cause the matching checkbox in the indicator to change.
It works the other way around, indicator to system-settings. And the brightness sliders stay in sync. It's just the system-settings to indicator toggle which fails. The new feature is approved anyway, since it's better than having no controls at all in the indicator, but the sync should probably be 2-way instead of just 1-way. ** Affects: indicator-power Importance: Undecided Status: New ** Tags: rtm14 ueqa -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Unity API bugs, which is subscribed to indicator-power. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1369439 Title: system-settings auto-bright checkbox doesn't toggle indicator checkbox Status in The Power Indicator: New Bug description: The indicator-power silo which just got approved for RTM doesn't fully sync with ubuntu-system-settings.
