I'm having the same issue. Enabling or disabling the wifi through the indicator (or whatever they're called on Ubuntu Touch) pauses the music for at least a full second, while doing the same with rfkill on the command line works just fine without interrupting the music.
I'm also using the Aquaris, but I'm running the normal Ubuntu 14.10 (r21). -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Unity API bugs, which is subscribed to Network Menu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1447077 Title: Playback is paused briefly when switching airplane mode or enable/disable WiFi Status in Network Menu: New Status in Music application for Ubuntu devices: Invalid Bug description: The playback of music (stored on the phone, playing in the background) is paused briefly when toggling the airplane mode or when toggling WiFi in the System settings. However, toggling Bluetooth does not affect the music playback. There should be no music playback pauses when toggling networking settings (Airplane mode, enable/disable WiFi).
