Dear Al & Caroline, I didn't want to burden you with sooner question or worry, but... I consider you both New Yorkers. How are you holding up? Are your friends accounted for? Would you like company, or to have us cook for you? I know Al's family has several members in Police and/or Fire Departments. There must be so much grief and worry for friends and their families.
