Given what is unfolding from Harrisburg, I have created a new web page for
Neighborhoods Online--easily reached--for our Colonial Government in
Harrisburg.
For the moment, it provides direct access via email to Governor Schweiker
(along with his pertinent pronouncements in the press). It also continues
to list the local phone and fax numbers, a Harrisburg number, and email
links to Philadelphia's representatives in this new colonial government.

Next Thursday, November 1st, from 6:30-8:30, there will be a forum in the
Bonnell Auditorium of Community College for those who want to speak out on
behalf of local control and adequate funding our schools--and against the
privatization of public education through Edison Schools.
I will stick to these announcements for nolphiladelphia.
