Why not just get him a Recreation Dept ID and use Hutch or Gimble...

The only other remaining Indoor pool in CC that I am aware of is at the
Racquet Club.... but you need a member sponsor to access that also.

[The Philadelphia Athletic Club used to exist, but I don't believe that it
still exists.]
[Jack Kelly and friends used to train for the Olympics in the pools in the
Schuylkill WaterWorks (under the Art Museum) but they got converted to an
aquarium and have recently been renovated into something that isn't open
yet.] 

Other than that, there are likely pools at some of the various Hotels, like
the Mariott, but I don't know.
