Everyone,
Spruce Hill Board Meetings are held the second Tuesday of every month,
except in the summer (July & August) and December (because of holidays), at
the Spruce Hill Center at 257 S. 45th St., starting at 7:30 pm. Board
meetings are open to all members of the Spruce Hill Community Association,
and to the public. We encourage all our neighbors to become members, and
have frequent membership drives. I believe this has been our schedule and
our policy since the Association was founded circa 1960.
We also frequently have speakers at our meetings. Mr. Saidel was listed
in our agenda sent to the board members the week prior to the meeting. This
was not intended as a town meeting. The UCCC (University City Community
Council) had a town meeting with Mr. Saidel on Jan. 17, at the Calvary
Church at 48th and Baltimore. Our talk by Mr. Saidel was primarily for the
board, although all meetings are open to the public, and he took questions
from everyone present, including many non-members. Our meeting room was full
on Tuesday night, as it frequently is, by the way.
If there are any other questions about our meeting schedule, please call
me at 472-2809.
Hope to see you at the meetings! And even more importantly, we encourage
all residents of Spruce Hill to become members of the Assocation.
Participate on a regular basis in the discussions that affect your
community!

        Jon Mourar, President
        Spruce Hill Community Assocaiation
