I am a Spruce Hill block captain, within the proposed boundaries. As near as I can make it, homeowners on my block line up like this (note that husbands and wives may disagree, so I'm allocating half a "vote" to each):

FOR H.D. -- 0.5
AGAINST H.D. -- 4.0
UNDECIDED -- 1.5

I believe I'm the only one on my block who's on this listserv. And I have posted only once (before now). I'm not calling your block captain a liar; different blocks may diverge greatly in their views, for all I know.

Sounds good to me. I attended a block meeting, which was properly publicized, and found the HD reps pretty forthcoming. But it is clearly their role to lay out the pros of an HD. It is not their role to lay out the cons. Whose role is that? At which public meeting will it be done?
