An interesting detail on a search I did:

4815 BEAUMONT AVE
2550 sq. ft. PHILADELPHIA , PA $246,000  02 Aug 01

This house is currently empty, has been for some time, and is owned
by an arm of Penn's RE division.  It is also in disrepair and needs
structural salvation.

4812 BEAUMONT AVE
3000 sq. ft. PHILADELPHIA , PA $121,500  16 Jul 01

This house is bigger, owner occupied, and well maintained.
What a difference in price!

I sure would like to know the accuracy of this info!

Subject: [UC] Recent property sales & prices

There's been a lot of discussion and interest about the escalating
prices being paid for property in University City. A website that
seems to be fairly up-to-date with addresses and prices (I can't
attest to its accuracy or comprehensiveness) is as follows. Note that
there're no "www" in the address.
