To PFSNI: URGENT REQUEST FOR REFERRALS TO SAFE EXTERMINATORS: I desperately need to exterminate the voracious mice who in the last week have gotten into my walls and who are attacking my electric wiring. Their gnawing on the wiring could lead to a disastrous electic fire and makes my house a fire hazard for the whole neighborhood. I have found ways to keep the beasties out of the kitchen, but I cannot figure out how to get them out of the walls of a rowhouse. I am ready to pay for an exterminator to take drastic measures and I know many are listed in the yellow pages, but I do NOT want to have some incompetent, careless person inject poisons in my walls that will endanger the health and safety of people living on either side. It would help me greatly if some of you know of a TRUSTWORTHY exterminator. Can anyone refer me to a smart, competent exterminator whom I could rely on to kill these aggressive attack-mice? (I never had this kind in my house before -- where did this strain of mice come from? They are gnawing on plastic containers, as well as wires. I have not seen that before and I have been in this old house for over 20 years. I assume I will not be the only person in the neighborhood experiencing such frightening attacks on electric wiring; be on guard in case the monsters move to your houses.) Help!!!!
