I have an old late '30s sofa with a hardwood frame, curved arms with buttons arranged in a grid (i don't know any of the terms for the style at hand, but I would say it has an art deco influence in it). Anyway, I'm giving it up because the back wood has cracked. I don't know if it's repairable or not. But if you're interested and are willing to cart it away in a couple of weeks, let me know.
