Seeking soccer games for the 8-12 crowd.. or even to 14 ys.
Does anyone know if there is soccer going on now, or if not, when it
would start up: I know Clark Park has it.. but don't know when, and what
about other places? I have a tutee about 10, but tall and well
coordinated, looks like 12 and I found when I took a soccer ball to Lea on
Garden Club day that he was practially a Harry Potter, golden ankles, and
also, he loved it... but since he is from Mauritania, he knows nothing
about where to play and just misses it... they just do basketball and
football... I will also ask the gym teachers but they don't seem to know
much about other venues.
several of the children from French speaking African countries have done
soccer and wish they could... Ethiopia also and I think LIberia.
not sure about Bangladesh and Cambodia, two other countries from
which several children come.. also South America probably given Brazeil
history in soccer!
