It depends on where you live. The schedule is on the City's web site at
http://www.phila.gov/streets/leaf_collection.html. Clark Park, for
example, is in Area 1, so we just missed the last collection Day
(November 21) but we have one more collection Day (December 12) coming
up.
That appears to be the information for mechanical (street-sweeping) leaf collection, which is limited to certain areas.� The website says there will be collection of bagged leaves (preferably in clear bags, unadulterated with trash) on every block each week through the week of December 16 on the day before regular trash collection.
I've had 2 bags of leaves sitting around for the past two weeks now. Today is the day before regular collection, and as of 10 minutes ago, they were still there. We'll see if they get picked up with the regular trash tomorrow.
