That appears to be the information for mechanical (street-sweeping) leaf collection, which is limited to certain areas.� The website says there will be collection of bagged leaves (preferably in clear bags, unadulterated with trash) on every block each week through the week of December 16 on the day before regular trash collection.
I think (as usual) the leaf collection business applies only the certain blocks. ... except that the City doesn't bother to tell their trash folks that, so they leave the leaves sitting behind.

I've had 2 bags of leaves sitting around for the past two weeks now. Today is the day before regular collection, and as of 10 minutes ago, they were still there. We'll see if they get picked up with the regular trash tomorrow.
