Sending bowls of rice to Dubya sounds like a cute idea. And the inclusion of a Bible quote has a certain _epatier la bourgiousie_ flavor to it ("Can you _stand_ the contradiction in your words and deeds? Take _that_, Mr. Faith!") that might be funny for a few moments.Ouch! Debra, your message hurt my eyes! Couldn't you have cleaned it up before sending it on? Do that again and I may be tempted to send rice to President Bush but throw rice at you! :-)
But consider: here are people citing starvation and famine as reason to avoid war, yet this protest involves sending _food_ to the leader of the richest country in the world, to make a mere rhetorical point that he's not terribly interested in hearing.
If anyone's interested in helping Iraq, I'd suggest contacting the Human Relief Foundation or the Save the Children foundation. Both of these charities are involved in famine relief in Iraq.
