To those who may be interested:

A page highlighting Spruce Hill's block improvement projects for 2002 can be found at: www.sprucehillca.org

Thanks go to our neighbors who participated in the grant program, and to those who volunteered their time to help.
There will be a lot more green to look forward to (once the snow melts!) as a direct result of your efforts. Thank you!

Applications for the upcoming Spruce Hill fall 2003 program are due June 16, 2003.
If you are within Spruce Hill, think about applying for your block.
26 blocks in Spruce Hill have benefited from the block grant program over the past three years, but there are many more that could join in the fun!

Spruce Hill's program grants up to $500 per block, or up to $1,200 for two adjacent cooperating blocks, to be matched by volunteer labor, materials, services, or cash; to improve the streetscape focusing on greening efforts. The program is supported by Spruce Hill fundraising such as the MayFair.

Download an application from the Spruce Hill site: http://www.sprucehillca.org/blockgrants/index.htm

Thank you,

Sincerely,
Amanda Benner
