Tomorrow is a regular recycling day at the Firehouse Farmers Market site, 50th and Baltimore.
The next recycling day after tomorrow will be March 15th - the next day after that will be April 5 (***three*** weeks later). The basic rules are: What to Recycle: Plastic bottles and containers (#1 and #2 - look for the number in the recycling triangle, stamped on or near the bottom of the container) Mixed paper (including corrugated cardboard, magazines, newspaper, phone books, etc). How to recycle: Bring materials to 50th and Baltimore. Keep plastic separate from mixed paper. Remove all caps from plastic and throw them away (unless they are specifically marked #1 or #2). Hours: 9 am to 12:30 pm. PLEASE GET THERE BEFORE 12:30 AS THE TRUCKS HAVE TO LEAVE AT 12:30 SHARP!. If you must leave things earlier than 9 remember (1) there will be no volunteer on duty (2) make sure the materials are secured against wind, bags are tied shut, and materials are placed neatly against the fence.
