For what it is worth, last spring we bought the white roof coating at Home Depot (Baltimore pike) and really noticed the difference in how much cooler the haus was during the summer months. The third floor was actually inhabitable. From what I have heard, the knock on the white coating is that it does not retain any heat in the winter. Also if you can see any parts of your roof, after a few months it definitely does not look as pristine.
