Clark Park Volunteers, Our oft-postponed Winter, now Spring Work Day will finally happen this Saturday, March 29, 2003. Please meet at 10:00 AM at the flagpole in the north part of Clark Park where Ann Dixon, Ed Rich, and myself will have lots of things for you to do to help out in Clark Park. We'll be resettling mulch around some of the trees (and maybe mulching a few as well), cleaning up broken glass and other trash in the park, as well as taking care of some minor maintenance.
So bring your gloves, your energy and your sunny dispositions and we'll spruce up Clark Park for a great summer. It's a great way to spend a Saturday and meet your neighbors. Although I haven't checked with them lately, The Green Line Cafe was going to provide coffee and other hot drinks for the March 1 Work Day and I'm sure (hoping) they're still willing to do so.
