Two suggestions:
A. Live trap cages - Baited with peanut butter and placed in the vicinity
of the holes they are using. After you trap them, transport them to another
location to release (Fairmont park, cobbs creek etc. You have to move them
far enough away or they will work their way back home. Re-bait and go for
more. I think that the exterminator we used years ago when this happened
said to continue laying the traps until you haven't caught a squirrel for a
couple days - to a week.

Then fix the holes. (Only after the squirrels are gone), We had our roofer
do the job. There is (was?) a place over at 40th and Lancaster that sells
exterminating supplies. I think they had the traps. The traps are wire
mesh box, about 3 feet long and 10 inches square on the ends. The trap door
is sprung after they enter and try to feed. trapping them inside without
hurting them.

B. Out door cats. Since they have shown up in the neighborhood the
squirrel populations has really gone down.

Good luck. It was amazing the damage they did trying to gnaw their way out
of the attic.
