(Oh, and I've heard that if you split the incoming cable before it goes to your
cable modem, you can get your basic local TV channels. But I wouldn't do that.
It would be unethical & stuff. :)
Unless they have actually changed their tariff, you ARE paying for Basic Cable in order to get the RoadRunner service.
That's why the service is $10 cheaper/ month if you are a Cable TV subscriber.
I think the channels you get are:
3/6/10/12/17/48/57/62/69 WLVT/WYBE/ one of the NJN stations and a couple of other random cable shopping channels.
