If anyone has a good company/agent/rate/service, would you mind telling me about them? What IS the going rate for this kind of basic insurance?
There is no such thing as a going rate...
Insurance is a very individualized product, especially for HO-3 policies.
There are many variables, starting with the appraised value of the property, how close is the nearest fire station, fire plug, what is the house made of, what kind of "extras" (like liability) that you want, or deductibles.
