Actually, I did telephone the Location Office to tell them about my delivery on September 2nd. They were very cooperative and very cordial indeed.
The problem is that although there have been several other shoots previously that involved my street, Wednesday August 27th was the first and only time I had a handbill put inside my door explaining about the shoot and where to call if there were concerns. I telephoned them about the delivery for their benefit as well as mine. It is not that people wish the production to fold here. On the contrary, we wish to be notified and and advised of the protocol for affected residents. My question previously that was addressed by Mr. Magill, was explained as to how the TV, and Motion Picture industry has free reign for location shoots. I understand this since I have family and friends who work in the business. What I meant to ask was the process for notifying affected residents in NYC and LA where most of these pictures and TV series are shot.
