THIS IS A GREAT START! Thank You. (see posting below)
NOW some of the other questions and concerns that were brought up?
1. Curfew of 10:00 PM Noise Ordnance> Remember the Film office is not an
official elected government agency. They cannot legally change laws and Ordnance
without due process.
2. POST in advance not just the DATE but the TIME frame requested by "Hack"
3. Parking plan? AND Friendlier intervention Of Phila. POLICE. Informing the
parking authority to exercise "judgment in ticking" that day (haha)
Taking over a residential area by a commercial concern effects more than
just the allocated blocks and cause ripples for up to 20 blocks around the
effected area.
4. Home owners leaving cars on street, making individual agreements with
"hack," issued a sticker and move cars when required as well as use them in scene
shots instead of relocating them.
5. Enforce only essential vehicle parking i.e. hair dressers, crew, unused
vehicles and trucks, etc., use Hack vans to transport staff and crew from other
local lots to location.
6. Acknowledge publicly how much money and gifts in kind are given out by
"Hack"
and to who, and why. This will stop the possibility of impurities by
Officials and private groups.

<< All,
As we agreed to at the Spruce Hill Community Assoc. meeting of Sept. 9,
with representatives from Hack and the Phila. Film Office, here is the latest
info about the Hack filming schedule, as given to us from Demian Resnick,
Location Manager for Hack. More info will be posted as soon as it becomes
available:
No filming will be done in UC neighborhoods until 9/24 at the earliest.
We have also been told that Hack will continue to make every effort to
follow Phila. Film Office guidelines as far as putting up flyers notifying
residents on the streets where filming will take place.

Spruce Hill Communication Committee
