--- Begin Message --- Good morning everyone.

>From time-to-time we send out SOS's when we have a patient-family
with respect to whom we are having a difficult time finding lodging.
We have such as case now.  The details are as follows:

       H.T. is a very nice 31 year-old woman who on 11/10 will
be taking radiation pills as treatment for thyroid cancer.
She will be released from the hospital about three days
later, and then for another three or four days thereafter
(11/13-11/16 or so) she will not be able to come into
sustained close contact with other persons so as not to
expose them to the radiation which is still in her body.

As H.T.'s own family consists of her husband and their
children, for this three or four day period H.T. will not be
able to go to her own home and thus has turned to HfH
for lodging elsewhere.  The type of lodging she needs
is a totally private space, such as a free standing
guesthouse, or, in the basement of a home wherein
there is a private entrance to the basement
.  As
her family lives in Doylestown, ideally wherever she
lodges will be a s close to there as possible to ease
the burden on her husband whenever he needs to bring
over to her whatever she may need;  we would, however,
be very interested in learning about any such private
lodging situations anywhere in the Greater Philadelphia
area, for other patient-families from time-to-time require
       such privacy as well

Please feel free to send this email on to anyone whom you think
may be able to help this family.  If you or someone you know may
be interested helping this family or otherwise becoming involved
with HfH, please contact me at your earliest convience.  In the
meantime, thanks again for your interest and support.
