I was at a meeting where the dog park issue came up. In putting together the renewal plan, Friends of Clark Park took a conservative approach. Redesigns on which the community was vociferously divided were avoided to the utmost extent possible. A dog park was discussed in the public hearings; it triggered vociferous divisions. So it was not included in the plan.
