Why wasn't a dog park included the the clark park redesign?
Is it time now for the dog park with this "Hack" money?

Subject: [UC] Hack donates to Clark Park

Big Ticket Productions, which is producing the TV show "Hack" in our neighborhood, has donated $500 to Friends of Clark Park. "Hack" has used Clark Park, along with other neighborhood locations, for its shooting.

$500 can support a substantial maintenance or improvement project in the park. FoCP is most grateful to Big Ticket Productions and also to our former FoCP Board member Anne Kringel, who arranged for the contribution.

Hi
Tony is correct. I was at a meeting where the dog park issue came up. It was a divisive issue

In putting together the renewal plan, Friends of Clark Park took a
conservative approach. Redesigns on which the community was vociferously
divided were avoided to the utmost extent possible. A dog park was discussed
in the public hearings; it triggered vociferous divisions. So it was not
included in the plan. When in doubt, the group tried to leave traditional
park usage patterns the way it found them.
