Am I to understand that one can actually get real Latin coffee or Cafe
   Cubano there?

I asked, and the guy I talked to had never heard of Cafe Cubano. He
seemed excited by the idea, and said that he would, "get on the horn
with the owner's father, who is from Cuba."

I asked about the music, and he said that they've had two bands play
so far, and would have more. Bigger name acts would be widely
advertised. I got the impression that there isn't a "house band" or
regularly scheduled music.

I miss Manhattan, where as a kid I would go out every weekend and ride
around Central Park on my bike until I found a conga band to listen
to. Does anyone know if there's something similar in West Philly?
