A herd of some 50 wild kangaroos has been discovered in Rambouillet forest not
far from Paris. It seems that they are the descendants of a few kangaroos
escaped from a zoo in the 1970s. They are in excellent health, well adapted to
the local climate and completely unafraid of people. The problem now is keeping
visitors away.
