I think Leon McWilliam's of Nicky's Moving is the best!
Leon has four trucks, but rarely schedules more than three moves per day,
so he has some reasonable flexibility when delays or problems crop up.
He also has storage at his "Climate controlled" warehouse.
And, since he has a decent - sized commercial property,
he has been able to move my Sell-Buy clients one day;
store their possessions on the truck overnight
and make next day delivery (without a duplicate loading charge.
His price are good. He is honorable and supervises his men well.
His crew is strong and they are gentle with possessions.
Some of his crew have been with him as long as I've known Leon (15
years?).
This leads me to conclude he is fair and reasonable with his staff as
well as with his clients.
He also maintains a business office.
So problems can be addressed during the business day.
His office manager has been a pleasant and responsive constant over the
years.
Leon has been doing my personal work for 15 years and
I have always felt he did a better job than I could...
... even if I were inclined to lose weeks with packing, hauling and
recovery from muscle strains.
I have given his name to MANY of my clients, and I usually hear
accolades.
Accidents and delays happen, and
the only complaints I've hear were in those categories, but
Leon is a good communicator and seems to act in a
fair manner when problems need to be resolved.
I have heard enough serious complaints about other movers that
I tend to stick with Leon.

So many of his jobs are here in U. City, that many of his employees live
nearby, so many of the dollars stay in the neighborhood.
One final referral -
The company is named after a beloved dog, now passed on.
I always thought any guy who would name his company after his dog was
probably someone who was loyal and had a sense of humor.
Over the years, Leon has demonstrated both qualities.
