I heard on WHYY that regular trash pick up resumed today around 1 PM, 
because the snow was lighter than expected. The expectation at this 
point  is that trash pickup will get back on schedule.

Is trash collection going to be a day (or more) late this week? The 
city
usually puts plows on the trash trucks on days like this.

If nobody has already done so, I'll call the Streets Dept and ask about
this. But the lines are probably jammed -- and if someone has already
called, there's no sense in making matters worse.
