I am new to this list and new to University City in general (I spent the bulk of my tenure in Philadelphia in Center City, excepting a brief stint in northeast philly that I'd rather pretend never happened). I'm enjoying reading all of the posts and you all seem like a lively, eclectic bunch.
Anyway, Kyle and I are always saying "we should go to that new nonsmoking bar, Abbraccio, some evening and check it out." Needless to say, we have yet to pay a visit to the place, despite our deep and abiding yearning for a nearby, smoke-free watering hole that isn't Kyle's living room.
So I'm pretty sure that *someone* on this list has gone to Abbraccio, and we were wondering about the prevailing thoughts, opinions, etc. of those in the neighborhood.
Also, if anyone on the list would like to get together one night next week for a (smoke free!) drink at Abbraccio, let us know (perhaps Tuesday night?). Because I know very few people in UCity and because my Center City friends are loath to cross the Schuylkill (which is like crossing the Rubicon to many a CC dweller), it would be nice to meet some new folks.
