Ironically, the people we need here probably do not watch the "real world" now, but they probably did 10 years ago. If you think about it, when was the last time you heard anyone say "I would really like to go to Philadelphia for a few days - and maybe move there?" I never have. I do, however, here of a lot of middle class folks who leave for greener pastures. They leave because they are tired of the struggle this place has become. This town is tired. Dead tired. Worse than that, though, is the fact that the powers that be here - political parties, unions, who or whatever, don't seem to get it. It is business as usual. The empty, unexpanded Convention Center should serve as glaring proof of that. If that type foolish behavior continues, in 20 years this place will be like Detroit. another .02$ ---- You are receiving this because you are subscribed to the list named "UnivCity."
