Kyle and I are trying to find a way to become more active in the community, especially regarding volunteerism. I know a lot of people on this list are very active in the community in all sorts of ways, and I'm wondering if anyone participates in/knows about Habitat for Humanity. I've been meaning to participate in a Habitat project for some time now (years, actually), and I finally feel like getting off my duff and doing it.
We thought it might be nice if we could get a bunch of people (from this list?) to pitch in, too. They're building on West Stiles Street, according to the web site:
