Hey kids -- I'd asked chip to cc me any info he got, but I realize that his
goals may be different than mine. I have this lovely garage door see:

r/1.jpg

Which was damaged when the house next door to me got knocked down (some
broken windows, the left mounting got knocked out of kilter). The result is
that the door doesn't open and close properly. I'd thought, like chip "hey,
I'll put an automatic garage door in there! It'll be cool!" but then I
realized, I like my garage door. It looks ... If not rustic, then at least
rusty. My question is this:

Who can fix my garage door? I want it to open and close nicely, I want to be
able to lock it , I might replace the windows myself, but if someone else
wants to do it, why should I get in their way. I have a tax return burning,
burning a hole in my pocket and I'd like to start this in the next few days.
The more I look at it, the more I find myself thinking: what a noble garage
door! If only it worked!

Thanks a bundle.

Kyle

Subject: [UC] Garage door

Hi,

I want to install a garage door and opener, and I'd like to buy the door
from someone who will install it for me. This involves ripping out the old
swinging doors, hooking up the electrical, etc.

Does anyone know of a garage door dealer/installer in the Philadelphia area
that they would recommend?

Thanks,

--- Chip
