That probably depends on what you mean by "the war".

Until we had a national hero die in Afghanistan today
I don't think they have been including fatalities in that
country as "war related".

I'm kind of surprised the Bush Junta didn't fly Pat Tilley
to Iraq and dump his body there to pretend he was killed
in Iraq, rather than admit a lot of Americans are dieing
all over the mideast and beyond.

Now what do they do ? Pretend Tilley is the
only soldier who has died there ? That probably
isn't going to fly anymore.

I knew the day Bush elected it was a national tradgedy,
but I didn't know at the time it was actually a catastrophe.
It will take 50 years to undo all the stupidity of
this 4 year term in office.

The one thing he has accomplished is that he has united
the Sunni's and Shihites against a common enemy.
There is a lot of evidence that people from all over Iraq
are trying to kill our soldiers now and with the way this
crazy war has been waged, I'm not a bit surprised.

John-

Funny how you labeled that posting "non-uc." I think the effects of the war affect every neighborhood.

Does anyone know if any Philadelphians, or West Philadelphians have been lost in the war?
