Nobody is saying that's the ONLY way to clean up the park, of
course -- merely that it is a way that works very well, and the only way
that the job gets done these days. Funds have been raised and the park
is cleaned. Plus, another party is thrown! That's good in
itself.
If you would like -- by virtue of the power
invested in me, I now appoint you, laserbeam, chair of a new Ad Hoc FoCP
Committee to Fix Problems With the City in Other Ways, Without Parties. Just
please report back to the Board on your progress from time to time, and let us
know if there are any ways that we or your fellow members of FoCP can
assist you in your labors. The more problems you fix, the more support you will
get, I guarantee you that.
