Yeah it was a joke but the joke is on us.
What difference does it make anyway ?

It doesn't matter who gets elected
or what government we have anymore.

The real power in any society is determined by who
controls the press and people knew that 100 years ago.
The only thing that's changed is that "the press" has
expanded to include elctronic media.

It's a shame our forefathers didn't anticipate the concentration
of media into the hands of a small minority of people
and provide safeguards against it.

The future of this country and mankind in general
is very bleak in my opinion.

I thought it was a joke.  Did people think this was credible?  I thought
people realized that anyone can put up a site and talk shit about anything
as much as they wanted to...but I guess there is always that crowd
(typically known as the "majority", I think) that rarely questions the
veracity of something that bolsters their own viewpoint.  I mean, come on,
living a lie is so much more easy than trying to figure out the truth.
