I think one of the worst redesigned intersections is the "new" and penntrified Woodland/Baltimore/Chester and 38th streets. While this intersection may not have been perfect before, it worked. Now, so the Vet school can expand with yet another collapsible new building, a whole sector of the city is forced to suffer bedlam. The level of instituional arrogance involved in this redesign project is flabbergasting. On top of everything else, there are no bike lanes, and a lot of people use that portal to get out of West Phila.
