Paradise Found at Florence Garden, 49th and Florence Avenue!
Thanks to some help last week from neighborhood gardeners, the beautiful landscape of Florence Garden is beginning to re-emerge. We bush wacked through vines and weed trees, reclaimed paths and bagged a ton of debris. We also uncovered a peony, viburna and holly, discovered a bird's nest and did battle with the Firethorn. Not a bad nights' work.
A few more nights should do it! Join us this Tuesday and Wednesday evening, July 6 and 7, 7:00 - 8:00 pm to continue the adventure.
Bring gloves, clippers and shovels, etc.
We had a great time and the result speaks for itself.
