Yeah...I do "get it".

However, we are not so leftist
out here anymore..you know since
everyone's property value increased!

Geographic location is not as important 
of a quality to spin off of. We have so 
much more to offer.

The Left Bank, Carl Dranoff's building,
said it was located on the "Smart Side
of Center City", I think that tag-line has
more merit as it relates to the wealth of 
educational resources we have to offer this
side of the river.

How about: "Where Cultures Combine" or
"The World in one Great Neighborhood"...if we 
are trying to distinguish ourselves from the 
rest of the city's neighborhoods.

   So...Did you hear the new tagline to match
   the logo...it is "Left of Center". 
   
That's easy.  Look at a map of Philadelphia, with north at the top.
What's directly to the left of Center City?  We're "Left of Center".

They're probably also quoting classic Suzanne Vega lyrics from an '80s
teen movie.  It was edgy and counter-culture... about twenty years
ago.
